After a dramatic week-long pursuit on the high seas, the United States has captured an oil tanker flying the Russian flag in the Atlantic.
The sanctioned ship, which changed its identity from the Bella 1 to the Marinera after escaping the US blockade of Venezuela last month, was apprehended early on Wednesday. The M/T Sophia, another sanctioned tanker that the United States claimed was "conducting illicit activities in the Caribbean Sea," was also seized. The UN’s maritime regulations do not limit America’s actions, according to Abhishek Kapoor, Senior Executive Editor, and Trump’s wild activities could set the stage for a third world war.
