Seven-time champion Novak Djokovic has responded to fans who booed him on Central Court on July 08 by beating Holger Rune, in straight sets 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 to reach his 15th Wimbledon quarter-finals.
Djokovic took the first set in just 29 minutes and was well on his way to the second when the crowd started to howl “Ruuune” after virtually every point he won.
Djokovic has found in his on-court interview as well: “And to all those people that have chosen to disrespect the player, in this case me, have a gooood night. Goooood night, gooood night.”He then added: "I played in a much more hostile environment. Trust me, you guys can’t touch me."
