Delhi Police received two successive calls on Monday morning, both originating from the Chief Minister’s residence in Civil Lines, as per sources within the police department. The caller, claiming to be AAP leader Swati Maliwal, reportedly dialled emergency services after allegedly being assaulted.
According to police sources, the call came around 9 AM. However, after police arrived at the location, Swati Maliwal was not found. Due to protocol, law enforcement authorities are unable to enter the Chief Minister’s residence without proper authorisation.
Delhi Police is investigating veracity of the PCR call.
