Researchers at Kashmir University’s Institute of Technology have developed a system for wireless power transfer using radio waves. The team, led by Professor Rufu Lala, has created a device that converts energy from radio waves into electricity. Their prototype can power a 250-watt light bulb using a combination of battery power and ambient radio waves. The researchers claim the technology is eco-friendly and could revolutionise power distribution if scaled up.
