A political firestorm has erupted in Bihar over a viral video from an RJD rally in Mohiuddinnagar, where a minor child made inflammatory remarks, sparking a fierce backlash from the BJP against leader Tejashwi Yadav. The child is heard saying, ‘…jab CM ban jaayenge tejaswi bhaiya toh katta leke ghumunga tab toh mujhe rangdar samjogi’ (when Tejashwi bhaiya becomes the CM, I will carry a country-made pistol, then you will consider me a strongman). The incident has provided fresh ammunition for the BJP to revive its ‘Jungle Raj’ allegations against the RJD. BJP spokesperson C. R. Kesavan condemned the ‘degenerate culture and violent mentality’ of the RJD, stating it exposes the dangers of their potential return to power. The RJD had not issued an immediate official reaction to the controversy, a move which the BJP claims shows they are ‘blatant and brazen’ about their ideology.
