Why Did Netanyahu Reject Lebanon’s Peace Proposal and Unleash Horror on April 11?
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday that Lebanon turned to Israel last month "for direct peace negotiations."
"Lebanon turned to us last month, they turned to us a few times actually, for direct peace negotiations, which has never happened to us in history," said Netanyahu in a video address.
The comments come after Israel bombarded Lebanon’s Southern region on April 11, 2026.
