A pregnant BJP supporter was allegedly kicked in the stomach during an attack on her home in West Bengal’s Cooch Behar district, an assault her mother claims was carried out by members of the ruling Trinamool Congress.
The incident, which occurred in Dinhata, drew sharp condemnation from the opposition BJP, while a local Trinamool leader dismissed the allegations as a “small matter” and denied the party’s involvement.
