In a major development in the Durgapur gang rape case, police have begun recreating the crime scene as part of their ongoing investigation.  All five arrested accused are being brought to the site for the recreation. The area has been cordoned off as officials gather more evidence. Meanwhile, the victim’s family has expressed dissatisfaction with the probe and plans to take their daughter back to Odisha. The case has also triggered a political storm, with the BJP attacking the state government over women’s safety.
