West Bengal Heightens Security For Peaceful Ram Navami Amid TMC-BJP War Of Words | India Today

West Bengal has intensified security measures across the state to ensure peaceful Ram Navami celebrations, deploying 29 senior officers in sensitive areas. The Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have engaged in a verbal dispute over the celebrations. The Calcutta High Court has passed an order for a Ram Navami rally in Howrah, permitting it between 3 to 5 PM without arms. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has urged all communities to maintain peace, while opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari alleges that the police are preventing people from celebrating.
