In an interview, geopolitical consultant Adelle Nazarian, an American of Iranian heritage, discussed the ongoing conflict in West Asia and its implications for the global order. She stated that ‘the West and the middle nations, like India, will end up benefiting from this war.’ Nazarian emphasized that no one benefits from war on a human level, but geopolitically, she sees a strategic realignment of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations towards the West and India. She noted that Iranian people inside Iran are divided in their views, with many tired of struggling under the current regime. Nazarian highlighted that ‘nations that present their identity and name with a religious identity along with it rarely survive over time.’ She praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his handling of geopolitical situations, calling him the only person who can moderate between global leaders. Nazarian also emphasized the shift from traditional energy sources to rare earths as a defining factor in the new global order, describing the current situation as a ‘battle for ideological civilization’ fought through AI, technology, and military dominance.
