Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath rode Japan’s high-speed linear maglev train in Yamanashi on the last day of his Japan visit. The maglev train operates at 500 kilometres per hour and can reach speeds of up to 600 kilometres per hour, powered by a hydrogen energy plant. Currently, Japan’s bullet trains operate at 300 kilometres per hour. Adityanath also visited a hydrogen energy plant and a robotics centre during his trip. The Chief Minister held meetings with Japanese industry leaders and entrepreneurs, inviting them to invest in Uttar Pradesh. He highlighted investment opportunities in Jewar Airport and the Defence Corridor. The visit is part of Uttar Pradesh’s efforts to promote sustainable energy solutions and explore green hydrogen initiatives for long-term development.
