Iran’s missile struck five residential homes in Be’er Sheva in southern Israel, injuring over 30 people, most moderately. Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz announced preparations for harder strikes on Iran, with new rounds of attacks reported. The previous day, a direct strike on Beit Shemesh near Jerusalem killed nine people, with dozens injured, some critically. Israel’s health ministry reported around 700 people hospitalised since the conflict began days ago, with several hundred remaining in hospital and some in critical condition. The country remains under lockdown as the Jewish holiday Purim begins, preventing traditional celebrations.
