Ursid Meteor Shower of 2024, the final celestial event of the year. Peaking on the night of December 21–22, it offers skywatchers a chance to see bright fireballs, even with the moon in the sky. While not as intense as the Geminids, the Ursids promise a stunning display of meteors, with up to 10 meteors per hour. Visible from December 17–26, the best viewing time is around midnight before the moon rises. The shower, caused by debris from Comet 8P/Tuttle, originates from the Ursa Minor constellation.
