US President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran against blocking the Strait of Hormuz, threatening severe military consequences if the country attempts to disrupt global oil supplies. Trump stated that Iran ‘will get hit at a much, much harder level’ if it interferes with oil flow through the strategic waterway. The President also announced that 100 million barrels of oil from Venezuela are currently being processed in Houston, with another 100 million barrels expected.
