Reports state the United States is deploying 7,000 troops, including airborne paratroopers, to the region following speculation regarding a potential island seizure. Iran has fortified Kharg Island with naval mines and additional personnel, warning of strikes on regional infrastructure if attacked. Iranian officials confirmed the Strait of Hormuz remains open for vessels from India, Russia, China, Pakistan, Iraq, and Bangladesh. Simultaneously, the US Embassy in Israel issued security alerts for Tel Aviv airport, which is limited to one flight per hour, advising citizens to use land routes through Egypt or Jordan as the conflict continues.
