In Jammu & Kashmir, a Hindu family has been ordered to vacate a home they have lived in since 1947 due to Waqf claims, raising fears about community stability. The Waqf Board’s assertions also extend to Gujarat and Telangana, where municipal and agricultural lands are under dispute. As claims continue to unfold, calls for legislative reform to protect citizens’ rights are growing.
