Parliament Session Live Updates: The Monsoon Session resumed at 11 am on Tuesday after a stormy start marked by repeated adjournments and Jagdeep Dhankhar’s surprise resignation as the Vice President. There was a meeting of floor leaders of both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, with Leader of Opposition Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi present. Several opposition MPs have moved adjournment notices seeking a debate on alleged irregularities in Bihar’s voter rolls. Meanwhile, a motion to remove a High Court judge Yashwant Varma, signed by several opposition MPs, has been filed with the Rajya Sabha Chairman. A similar notice, backed by 152 MPs including Rahul Gandhi, has gone to the Lok Sabha Speaker. Sources said both Houses may admit the motions and begin forming an inquiry committee under the Judges (Inquiry) Act.
