Raja questioning the procedure and timing of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. He asked, ‘Why you are making such a surreptitious, secret and stealthy manner?’ The BJP has dismissed the allegations, with spokesperson Narayanan Tirupati calling the claims ‘cheap and silly politics’ and questioning why they would add voters that the Congress deems ‘anti-BJP’ in Bihar to the Tamil Nadu rolls. The controversy connects the deletion of voters in Bihar with their addition in Tamil Nadu.
