Speaking to India Today, senior counsel Vidushpat Singhania said he is hopeful that the Court of Arbitration of Sport will announce a landmark verdict in Vinesh Phogat’s case. The CAS’s verdict on Vinesh’s appeal is expected to be out on Tuesday, August 13. Vinesh appealed against her disqualification and requested she be awarded a joint silver medal.
