Olympian wrestler Vinesh Phogat has claimed non-cooperation by the Indian government in a fight at the Global Sports Court. She alleges that the Modi government did not provide her with eminent lawyers in her quest for an Olympic medal. However, a reality check by Nikhil Naz reveals that the Indian authorities were with her throughout the process. The Indian Olympic Association backed her and the initial appeal she sent was also signed by them. Phogat’s claim that a better-fought case would have resulted in a medal is deemed unfounded.
