Actor-politician Vijay addressed a TVK rally in Vellore, launching a direct attack on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin and the DMK government. Vijay questioned politicians about property accumulation, asking, ‘What was the property value that you had before coming into politics? And what is the property value after you came into politics? Can you openly declare it?’ He characterised the upcoming election as a ‘war between Vijay and Stalin’ and a battle ‘between people and corruption, bribery and mismanagement of DMK.’ Vijay dismissed Stalin’s alliance strategy, calling it the ‘Kallapatti or Cashbox Alliance.’ He presented his party’s vision, promising government schools and colleges will be number one, elimination of drugs, and welfare boards for auto and taxi drivers. Vijay emphasised women’s and children’s safety as his government’s top priority, criticising the current administration’s law and order situation. He urged voters to press the whistle symbol button in the upcoming assembly elections.
