He discussed the ethical use of AI, the necessity of transparency in government AI applications, and the potential for AI to enhance productivity in sectors like mining. Addressing employment concerns, he argued that while AI might disrupt traditional roles, it creates new opportunities, citing Ontario’s creation of one million jobs through a pro-business environment. He also invited Indian capital and expertise to participate in Ontario’s critical minerals sector, specifically for processing lithium and nickel essential for the global EV supply chain.
