Uttarkashi Flash Floods Updates LIVE: Weather Department Issues Red Alert In Uttarakhand| Cloudburst
With rescue operations in Uttarkashi following yesterday’s cloudbursts and flash floods underway, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has now issued a red alert for many districts of the state. Extremely heavy rain warnings have been issued in hilly districts like Uttarkashi, Tehri, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar. Also, a yellow alert will continue in the entire state till August 10.
