A helicopter belonging to Aryan Aviation, flying from Uttarakhand’s Kedarnath to Guptkashi, has crashed in the jungles of Gaurikund. The aircraft was carrying seven people, including the pilot. Reports suggest casualties in the incident. However, official confirmation is awaited.
The chopper took off at 05:17 am from Kedarnath and was returning to Guptkashi after picking up passengers from Kedarnath when it went off course due to poor weather conditions in the Kedarnath valley. Officials confirmed that the weather in the region was severely bad, which reportedly caused the helicopter to lose its way.
