Rescue operations continue in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district after an avalanche. 50 of 55 trapped workers have been rescued, but four have died at the hospital. Five workers remain trapped under snow and debris. The Indian Army, BRO, ITBP, and NDRF are involved in the rescue efforts. Six helicopters, including three Cheetah helicopters from the Indian Army and two from the IAF, have been deployed for evacuation.
