US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth has warned Iran of the most intense strikes, claiming that Iran’s missile firing capabilities have been crippled by up to 90 percent and drone strike capabilities by up to 83 percent on the 11th day of the conflict. However, Iran refuses to surrender or consider a ceasefire. Reports from Tehran indicate Iran will now attack Israel and US interests in the region with newer generation missiles with a payload of one tonne and more. Iran’s National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani has rebuffed American threats, stating Iran does not fear empty threats. The United States indicates more than 50 Iranian naval warships have been destroyed in the past 11 days. Pete Hegseth says Iran will be hit harder than ever if it does anything to stop the flow of oil and energy through the Strait of Hormuz. The United Arab Emirates intercepted eight missiles and 26 drones today, indicating dangerous escalation.
