A senior official from the United States Department of Defense has claimed that US forces have struck over 7,000 targets across Iran during “Operation Epic Fury”.
According to the briefing, Iranian ballistic missile attacks against US forces have dropped by 90%. The US says Iran’s air defenses have been severely damaged, its defense industry weakened, and over 120 naval vessels have been hit or destroyed.
The operation is described as focused on eliminating missile systems, launchers, and preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
The statement came honoring fallen US service members.
