The United States and Israel have struck more than 15,000 targets inside Iran since the war began, according to US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth. Officials say the joint campaign has averaged over 1,000 strikes per day, targeting military infrastructure across the country.
The strikes are part of a coordinated US-Israeli military campaign against Iranian military facilities, missile launchers and defence systems as the conflict intensifies across the region.
The announcement underscores the scale of the ongoing air campaign as Iran continues retaliatory missile and drone attacks against Israeli and US interests in the region.
