Qatar Airways will begin repatriation flights to several European destinations starting March 7 to assist passengers stranded by widespread airspace closures in the Middle East.
The airline said commercial flights remain suspended as Qatari airspace is still closed due to security concerns linked to the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel.
The repatriation flights are expected to operate from Doha to London, Paris, Madrid, Rome and Frankfurt. Priority will be given to stranded passengers, families, elderly travellers and those with urgent medical or compassionate needs.
The disruption comes as the war has forced several Gulf countries to close their airspace, causing thousands of flight cancellations and leaving many passengers stranded across major regional hubs.
