The latest directive emphasises that the exit must be coordinated with the embassy using suggested routes and explicitly warns against approaching international land borders without prior consultation. Despite reports of a 14-day ceasefire and celebrations in Tehran, the embassy appears to be taking no chances, raising questions about the stability of the truce. The advisory reiterates that Indian nationals should maintain strict coordination with embassy officials for any movement. This development comes amid a period of high regional tension, with the Indian government remaining sceptical of the current security situation and the longevity of the ceasefire agreement.
