The West Asia conflict continues as Iran reportedly targeted the US consulate in Dubai. US military forces initiated Operation Epic Fury, striking 2,000 targets across Iran, including missile, air defense, and command infrastructure. US and Israeli forces established air superiority, resulting in an 86 percent reduction in Iranian ballistic missile launches and a 73 percent decrease in drone attacks. Over 20 Iranian naval vessels, including the frigate Soleimani and a submarine, were destroyed. A US submarine sank an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean, while six American service members died in missile breaches. Iranian media reports Mojtaba Khamenei is the supreme leader. A submarine attack off Sri Lanka left 101 people missing. Regional partners, including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, are conducting air defense operations. Turkey intercepted an Iranian missile using NATO units. Indian airlines operated evacuation flights from Dubai and Jeddah due to airspace closures. Spain rejected involvement in the conflict. Officials also addressed Iran’s capability to produce a dirty bomb.
