As per the report, inflation rose by three per cent in the month of January despite Trump’s vow to lower US consumer prices on day 1. Eggs saw the most dramatic rise at over 15%. Trump, who has focused on issues like immigration and DEI in his first few weeks of office, has rushed to blame ex-President Joe Biden and the US Federal Reserve for the rising inflation.
