Greenland has said it cannot accept any attempt by the United States to take control of the island, after US President Donald Trump repeated that Washington would take Greenland “one way or the other.” The statement came as NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said the alliance is working to strengthen Arctic security. Denmark says Greenland is not for sale, even as US and Danish officials prepare for talks in Washington.
