The Lok Sabha witnessed chaotic scenes during the introduction of a new bill by Home Minister Amit Shah. Opposition MPs from the TMC and Congress tore copies of the bill and threw them in the air, with some papers falling on the Home Minister. Amid the pandemonium, TMC MPs made serious allegations that two of their female members were assaulted by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and Ravneet Bittu. A BJP spokesperson, Tom Vadakan, refuted the claims, stating, “Kiren Rijiju won’t do anything of that kind. So this kind of diversionary tactics to disturb Parliament is standard operation.” The contentious bill, which proposes that an office-bearer must resign if jailed for over 30 days, has been referred to a Joint Parliamentary Committee. The opposition has voiced strong objections to this, labelling the bill ‘draconian’. #loksabha #parliament #tmc #itwebvideos #bjp #amitshah #kirenrijiju #politics #indianpolitics #parliamentuproar #bill #protest #news #india #breakingnews #politicalnews
