Lucknow’s high-profile KGMU conversion case has taken a dramatic national security turn after an accused in the matter was linked to the Delhi Blast case. The report states that ‘the accused Dr. Rameez, already under arrest for alleged forced religious conversion and sexual exploitation, has now been linked to a key accused in the Delhi Blast case.’ Investigators confirmed the two were in contact. Following these developments, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister has reviewed the findings and determined the case has a much wider scope. The Chief Minister has ordered the Special Task Force (STF) to take over the investigation, signalling a high-level probe into the alleged conversion network and its possible terror connections.
