In an interview with India Today, ex-UP minister and senior BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh expressed confidence in BJP’s performance in the upcoming UP by-elections. He stated that the BJP alliance will sweep all nine assembly seats. Singh also commented on the Samajwadi Party’s alliance with Congress, stating that the latter’s poor performance in Haryana and Maharashtra has sealed its fate in the by-elections. He further criticised Congress for failing to deliver on its promises to voters.
