Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited the flood-affected agricultural lands in Maharashtra’s Beed district.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan assessed the damage to crops and assured farmers of relief under the crop insurance scheme and housing aid through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Chouhan said both central and state governments are working to support farmers and increase their income through new agricultural practices and technologies.
