The United Nations on Wednesday is continuing to call for ceasefire in Gaza as the Israeli offensive intensifies.
The Secretary-General’s spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric told reporters in New York that heavy fighting is forcing the closure of hospitals and border crossings, making it difficult to get aid in.
“Every day that this conflict goes on in, our operations become more and more challenging, more and more difficult, more and more dangerous for our colleagues,” Dujarric cautioned.
