Two Greek frigates, HS Kimon and HS Psara, have arrived in Cyprus after drone strikes targeted a British Royal Air Force base on the island.
The Psara is equipped with the Centros anti-drone jamming system, which was previously used against Houthi threats near Yemen. The warships were seen near Limassol, close to the British airbase.
Greece has also deployed four F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets to Cyprus. France is sending anti-missile and anti-drone systems along with a frigate.
The United Kingdom has announced the deployment of the HMS Dragon and two Wildcat helicopters in response to the attack.
The moves signal a wider regional defence response by European allies following the drone strike incident.
