This action is part of the Trump administration’s broader policy of reviewing visas, with a reported 55 million U.S. visas currently under review. The review process also involves exhaustive social media vetting and could impact many H1B, J1, and student visa holders, potentially creating a chaotic process and affecting U.S. logistic supply chains.
