Two police personnel were shot dead inside a police outpost in Punjab’s Gurdaspur district in the early hours of Sunday, officials said.
The deceased were identified as Gurnam Singh, an Assistant Sub-Inspector and Station House Officer (SHO), and Ashok Kumar, a Home Guard personnel. Both were posted at the Dorangla outpost, located in a sensitive sector along the India-Pakistan International Border (IB).
