A court-ordered anti-encroachment drive targeting illegal structures near the Faiz-e-Ilahi mosque at Delhi’s Turkman Gate resulted in violence. The incident triggered a political dispute, with BJP spokesperson Dr. Ajay Alok accusing Samajwadi Party MP Mohibullah Nadvi of inciting the crowd. Police are investigating Nadvi’s presence at the site. Authorities attribute the violence to rumors spread on social media and are analyzing footage to identify those involved in the clashes.
