Marco Rubio stated that decisions on territories and territorial claims should rest with Ukraine, warning Russia of consequences if no agreement is reached. The Ukrainian president emphasized, "territorial integrity of the nation is non-negotiable." He noted no Russian indication for a trilateral meeting or security guarantees. Ukraine seeks security guarantees to prevent future invasions and uphold its sovereignty. Negotiations require both sides to make concessions, as surrender is not an option.
