Donald Trump Threatens Hamas On Gaza Deal: Accept Or Face Hell
As Israel’s war on Gaza continues, US President Donald Trump has given Hamas a weekend ultimatum to accept his 20-point plan for a ceasefire in the region.
The Republican leader used his social media account, Truth Social, on Friday to call Hamas a "ruthless and violent threat" and to put pressure on the group to agree to his plan. He threatened to escalate the violence in Gaza unless an agreement was reached by Sunday at 6 p.m. US Eastern time (22:00 GMT). On the fringes of the UN General Assembly in September, the Trump administration had presented the peace plan to a group of Arab and Muslim leaders.
