US President Donald Trump has threatened to impose a 50% tariff on all Chinese imports if Beijing doesn’t remove its retaliatory 34% tariff by April 8th. Netanyahu, in a meeting with Trump, promised to eliminate Israel’s trade deficit with the US and remove trade barriers. Trump stated that the tariffs would help the USA recapture its industrial base. The global tariff war has caused stock markets to plunge, with India’s market losing 19,00,000 crore.
