Located in San Francisco Bay, ‘The Rock’ was a maximum security prison known for being one of the most secure facilities in the world and housing the likes of Gangster Al Capone. Largely owing to its location in the middle of raging waters, no living prisoner is known to have escaped confinement at Alcatraz despite several notable attempts.
