At the Shield of the Americas summit in Florida, President Donald Trump said Cuba is at the end of the line and in its last moments of life as it currently exists. He described the island as having no money, no oil after losing Venezuelan support, a bad philosophy, and a bad regime that’s lasted too long. Trump expressed eagerness for great changes coming to Cuba soon and indicated the Cuban leadership is negotiating a deal with Washington, including through Secretary of State Marco Rubio, which he believes could be made very easily.
