US President Donald Trump says he is considering a limited military strike on Iran if nuclear negotiations fail within the next 10 days. The warning comes as American forces expand their footprint across the Middle East.
Two aircraft carriers: including the USS Gerald R. Ford and the USS Abraham Lincoln — are being positioned near the region alongside destroyers, fighter jets, and refueling aircraft. Additional US Air Force assets have appeared at Lajes Air Base in the Azores.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Tehran is preparing a draft agreement for US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, while Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has warned that any aggression would be met with retaliation.
With talks underway in Geneva and military assets moving into place, the next 10 days could determine whether diplomacy prevails — or precision strikes begin.
