US President Donald Trump has stirred controversy with an explosive claim regarding India’s elections. Speaking at the FII PRIORITY Summit, Trump questioned the allocation of $21 million under USAID aimed at boosting voter turnout in India.
He speculated that the funds may have been used to influence the election outcome, suggesting efforts to get “somebody else elected.” In another development, KIIT University has announced a scholarship to honour Prakriti Lamsal, a 20-year-old Nepalese student who allegedly died by suicide in her hostel room on February 16.
