US President Donald Trump discussed extensive military operations against Iran, stating that since the beginning of the conflict, more than 7,000 targets have been struck across Iran, mostly commercial and military. Trump claimed a 90 percent reduction in ballistic missile launches and a 95 percent reduction in drone attacks have been achieved. Trump said more than 100 Iranian naval vessels have been sunk or destroyed over the last week and a half, and manufacturing plants for missiles and drones have been attacked. Trump also stated that Karg Island was attacked, with everything destroyed except oil infrastructure. Trump mentioned that more than 30 mine-laying ships have been destroyed and encouraged other nations whose economies depend on the Strait of Hormuz to assist, noting that some countries receive up to 95 percent of their oil through the Strait while the speaker’s country gets less than 1 percent. Trump also discussed renovation plans for a performing arts center and announced construction of a ballroom, emphasising no taxpayer money would be used.
